Counsellor
Fay was previously a primary school teacher. She came to The Haynes Clinic as a client and, after getting well, decided she wanted to help others. She now has a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and is a Registered Member of BACP
Fay knows from her own journey that recovery from addiction is possible. She recognises that the emotional traumas associated with addiction also need healing.
Fay is experienced in helping with anxiety and depression, stress and burnout, obsessive/compulsive behaviours, relationship difficulties, co-dependency, life transitions such as divorce, loss and low self-esteem and confidence issues.
Addiction counselling is about treating the mind, body and soul. Fay wants people to fully understand their illness and to see their truth before understanding the solution for them. It requires a genuine desire to be free, to be open, honest and willing for recovery to be successful.
