Ketamine Rehab and Detox

If you or someone close to you is struggling with ketamine addiction, you have already taken a brave first step by being on this page. At The Haynes Clinic, we understand that it can be hard to know who to turn to, but you are not alone. Our specialised and compassionate team combines personal recovery experience with addiction qualifications to guide and support your healing journey.

Read on to discover the tools ketamine rehab offers, what to expect from the ketamine detox and recovery programme, and how to start this significant change.

Why is ketamine rehab necessary?

Consistent use of ketamine usually occurs as a coping mechanism to avoid reality. This cycle is difficult to break free from alone, as you are surrounded by unhealthy patterns and people.

Ketamine rehab offers refuge from your usual routine, presenting a safe space with a fixed schedule so you can focus all your attention on getting well and learning healthy coping mechanisms.

Ketamine rehab treatment at The Haynes Clinic

Ketamine treatment at the Haynes clinic involves three main stages: detox, rehab, and aftercare.

Ketamine detox

While compulsive ketamine abuse can cause damage to the body, it is not physically addictive, and so no medical detox is required. You will, however, have psychological cravings for ketamine as the substance leaves your body and the brain adjusts back to a healthy state. This can be the most difficult part of the recovery process, as you are faced with realities that have likely been ignored or blocked out with the help of ketamine.

Our programme helps with these emotions, drawing on multiple types of therapy, a structured recovery model, and connecting with others to encourage you to face these fears and use the support of the group to work through the process.

Ketamine rehab

The most important part of ketamine recovery is creating a connection with others.  Addiction causes isolation, making users feel there is no one to turn to. We create a space where all clients and staff share the journey, creating a network of people who can help one another stay on track.

When you arrive at Haynes, you will take part in structured therapy Monday through to Friday, including both group and individual sessions. Group therapy is central to the process, and the part of rehab that people find most useful.

It can be difficult to open up and admit that your ketamine use is out of control; process group with others going through the same challenges, plus step work to complete throughout your stay, allows you to gain insight through shared experience, recognise patterns in your behaviour, and receive honest feedback in a supportive environment.

Individual counselling is also available to set goals, discuss personal issues, and ensure your progress is on track.

12-step programme

Our treatment model is based on the 12-step programme, with a focus on total abstinence and long-term behavioural change. We also run workshops on:

  • Managing emotions such as anger and resentment
  • Understanding cross-addiction
  • Spiritual and personal development
  • Staying present and mindful

In addition, you will have access to wellbeing therapies, including massage and yoga (massage is provided privately and will incur an additional cost).

Aftercare

We offer one year’s aftercare (a full day of process groups) every week after you’ve completed your programme. We don’t believe that recovery occurs in a space of a few weeks and want you to be able to ease back into everyday routine while still accessing support from our therapists and other clients.

Our family days also invite loved ones into these groups so they can share in the process and have a comprehensive understanding of how to support you once you graduate.

Why choose professional ketamine rehab?

  • Expert supervision to manage withdrawal symptoms safely
  • Evidence-based therapies tailored to your needs
  • Holistic approaches to mental, emotional, and physical health
  • Supportive community to foster motivation and accountability
  • Ongoing aftercare to prevent relapse

Rehab is an investment in your future – one that can transform your life and enable you to regain control and confidence.

What makes ketamine rehab at Haynes unique?

We don’t just consider the best programme for treating your addiction; we also consider the ideal space to help you heal.

As well as access to a luxury gym and swimming pool for privacy and reflection, our clinic is separate to our lodging so you can sleep and eat in an independent space from where process groups occur. This means any emotions or negative energy can be left at the clinic when you return to your living space.

This is not only important for healing, but creates independence while living at the rehab, with a routine of heading to the clinic every morning.

Who will benefit from ketamine rehab?

Rehab at The Haynes Clinic is an ideal solution for:

  • Anyone experiencing physical dependence or psychological addiction to ketamine (unmanageable cravings)
  • Anyone seeking a safe and supportive environment for ketamine detox and therapy
  • Those who have attempted to quit ketamine alone but have struggled to stay clean
  • Anyone who has previously attended rehab or support groups for ketamine and has relapsed
  • Anyone looking for a clinic that offers long-term support for overcoming ketamine

JT, a ketamine rehab client at Haynes, shares: “I would absolutely tell people to come here. I’d shout it from the rooftops if I could. You’ve saved my life.”

Remember: Rehab only works if you’re willing to commit. It’s a partner in your recovery, not a quick fix. We provide all the tools you need to overcome ketamine addiction, but you need to do the work.

If you or someone you care about is battling ketamine dependence, don’t wait for the situation to worsen. Our dedicated team is here to guide you towards a brighter, healthier future.
